Erika Langman

Professor Erika Langman is a sponsored wakeboarder that competes at a professional level, she is also the head of the womens studies department which she is passionately involved in, and she also has an MBA in steeze. Watching Erika wakeboard is one of our students favourite things to do because her style and technical components come together and inspire you to take your development to that next level. Erika studied abroad for months in the Phillipinnes to gradudate with steezy honours. She is the current Pro Wakestock Champion, and has also been Canadian National Rail Champion, the Ontario Provincial Champion for the past 4 years running and is a valued member of our Canadian National Wakeboard Team. On top of that she is a WWA Worlds Competitor and one of the only Canadians to enter in a WWA Cable Wake Park Worlds Competition in the Philippines. She has been coaching wakeboarding since 2002, and has specialized in all girls clinics since 2006. She is a fully certified WSWC instructor, as well as the Chief judge for the 2009 Canadian National Championships. She is highly involved with throwitdown.ca as marketing director, writer, editor and coach. Erika is also a regular contributor to onwake.com. Erika is a great person to have in the boat when you are learning a new trick. She gives with great instructions along with  an awesome confidence boost some students will often need. This can be a very important key in girls clinics: having someone who believes in your athletic abilities.
